ECB SUPPORT COACH
The ECB Support Coach course is suitable for anyone age 16+ looking either to help at their local club or to start on the ECB Coaching pathway. It is particularly aimed at those who are keen to assist the Lead Coach deliver junior sessions at their local club.
The course will enable you to help in the delivery and organisation of games and training sessions. This vital role supports the coach in action and the development of players within the club environment.

ECB FOUNDATION COACH (Level1)
A blend of e-learning and face-to-face modules led by ECB Coach Developers will explore what coaching looks like, the impact you can have as an ECB Foundation Coach, the skills you can help players to develop and how you can learn from your experiences.
Programme outcomes
This programme has been designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and confidence to coach cricket sessions that are active, purposeful, enjoyable and safe.
An ECB Foundation Coach will be qualified to lead coaching sessions independently and without supervision.
It is now the entry level qualification required to coach cricket.
Who is it for?
Anyone aged 17 and over wishing to become qualified to coach cricket, inspire players and make a difference to the game.

ECB CORE COACH (Level 2)
The programme is a blend of e-learning and face-to-face modules led by ECB Coach Developers will explore the player-centred planning process, player development, the skills you can help players to develop and how you can learn from your experiences.

This programme has been designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and confidence to lead player-centred coaching sessions.
An ECB Core Coach will be qualified to lead coaching sessions independently and without supervision.
Who is it for?
Anyone aged 17 and over wishing to become qualified to coach cricket, inspire and develop players and make a difference to the game.
Experience of playing or coaching cricket is desirable but not essential when applying for this programme.

ECB CA MEMBERSHIP
We encourage all coaches to become members of the ECB Coaches Association. Nationally, the ECB CA offers a range of products and services that help you to support players. All members must abide by the ECB Coaches Code of Conduct.
Basic – FREE
For anyone aged 16 and over who is interested in coaching, wanting to start their coaching journey and get connected with the coaching family.
Your membership will provide access to the latest thinking and developments through invitations to workshops and networking with like-minded coaches.
Enhanced – £30.00
For anyone aged 16 and over who is coaching, wanting access to the latest thinking and ideas and a connection with the coaching family.
Your membership will provide access to the latest thinking and developments through our resources, invitations to workshops, networking with like-minded coaches as well as being able to wear the ECB CA three lions.

BURSARIES FOR COACHES
Coaching is a challenging but enormously rewarding role within our game - players need expertise, support and passion at all levels of their development. MITC are committed to ensuring we have a bursary programme for aspiring coaches. Bursaries are funded by the generous support provided by the England and Wales Cricket Trust - they aim to increase the diversity of learners taking their firsts steps into coaching. CPD WORKSHOPS
Coaching Women and Girls
This course is for coaches who work with women and girls; it will offer nuanced and female-specific coaching advice, and examine good practice for female players.
